Biography of Thakoon Panichgul

Thakoon Panichgul, an American fashion designer, was born in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand.

At the age of eleven, he relocated to the United States with his family and grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. Thakoon attended High School at Bellevue West in Nebraska and participated in the DECA conference in Orlando, Florida in 1993.

After earning a Bachelor's degree in Business from Boston University in 1997, Thakoon moved to New York.

While writing articles about fashion, he developed a direct interest in clothing design. In order to pursue his passion for fashion, Thakoon officially trained at the renowned Parsons School of Design from 2001 to 2003.

In September 2004, Thakoon presented his first ready-to-wear collection, which received immediate recognition from fashion critics, press, editors, stylists, and numerous celebrities including Rachel Bilson, Demi
